Vandwelling…a Reality!

To quote a definition from the Urban Vandweller:

Vandweller

function: noun (slang term.), coined in the 1980’s or 1990’s, probably in North America

Definition:
1- a member of a people, nomadic in nature, dwelling (residing) in a van or similar vehicular enclosure.
2- person(s) of a visionary lifestyle, created to moderate rising living costs and provide necessary freedoms for said individual(s).

But to make this quite clear to those who want to stick with societies norms… I AM NOT FUCKING HOMELESS! I have my own 120 volt ac power, I have a roof over my head, I have a stove, I have a heater, I have a full sized bed, I have a computer, I have a TV, I have EVERYTHING I need!

So why is it then that so many people want to call me this? Because I am outside the normal living in today’s society? Because I’m 32 and consider myself to be semi-retired? Because I live in a class b RV? So be it…think whatever you want, but please know this, my monthly expenses are only around $500 for EVERYTHING…your paying more on your rent or mortgage than I am, and thus I have more time to do what I want and to once again learn to be happy…are you happy working that 9 to 5 job, 40+ hours a week? I bet not, with only a week or two “vacation” time a year…..maybe you should try something new! Dig deeper into my site and find out about me!
